What part do you not get? This question has been asked several times the answer is when he is deemed ready to. I do not think it is our decision to discus and put more pressure on our Organization and QB. He is not far off from starting . But he should be Coached Up by his Coaches and I am sure that’s what they are doing as we speak. This is a team all players must be supported and not devised by Fan comments that divide our locker room.

Idk why Dan says the Bears o-line is the weakest part of their team. I'd argue it's the secondary that has a superstar in Jackson that takes plays off & never wants to get into a pile or do the dirty work, their other safety is a guy aging past his prime who is on his second team-friendly one year deal, and their starting cornerback #1 is entering just his second year & is coming off missing the last 3 games of his rookie season to a shoulder injury when he was drafted having slipped in the draft due to...shoulder surgeries. They also released their nickelback and signed another injury prone veteran in Trufant to be the cornerback #2 who has played in less than 10 games for 3 of the last 5 years. If anything the secondary is gonna be the weakness of the Bears

We have another stupid topic with a bunch of stupid takes. There is only 1 simple answer to this question: If Fields looks like the best Bears' QB on opening day, he should be the starter. If he's earned it, he's earned it. If Fields does not look like the best QB, don't force him into the lineup. There is no other answer. You don't need to force him into the starting lineup right away because you traded up and you don't need to sit him an arbitrary number of games because he's a rookie. Talk about some other sports so you actually have content. Baseball season is under way, tennis frickin awesome and a highlight + story machine. I don't even watch hockey, but I'd be very happy to see those highlights than these nauseatingly awful takes with overpaid athletes and "journalists".

"It's his job to lose". That's how I would look at it, if I were The Bears. Go into the season thinking he's your starter. Having Andy Dalton there takes pressure off of everyone. If Fields isn't ready, then he isn't ready and Dalton starts. No big deal. It's pretty unrealistic to expect a rookie QB to come in and start. Especially one that didn't start for several years in college. You don't want to force things with young QBs and mess up their confidence like they did with Trubisky. Everyone knows that bringing them along slowly is the ideal situation. Whether it's a half of a season or a full one, or even a couple. That's how consistently Winning teams do it... Lol.

  108. Mason Middaugh

    Mason MiddaughПре 10 дана

I love how they talk about how they know Chicago but they really don’t, we have more than just arob, Darnell moony would be a number 2 on most teams, we have a 1000 yard rusher at rb, are o line towards the end of the year hardly gave up any sacks and are o line got a lot better in this past draft. This notion that the bears have 0 pieces on offense is held by people who don’t know what they’re talking about.(aka Dan)
