  64. Byron Mims

This is truly a fascinating story that goes back to the very root of the NFL/NPL in which all the backs in the backfield - once upon a time - had to be *REAL* athletes who had to be able to run (as QBs) and/or be truly exceptional runners (as RBs & FBs). This trend seemed to give way when integration ushered in both a stronger form of plantation politics and overseer FRAUD politics as it relates to the QB position, specifically. Fast forward to 3rd & 8 against Tampa in the playoffs. Mgt says, Gee, JL would've run for that. AR said, "But I'm AR. I've earned the TB12 right, 'the privilege,' if you will," *NOT* to do that. No Way Jose! The only jeopardy I'm putting myself in - is the game show!" AR & his supporters say, then that, that "If we had another wr, then, I wouldn't have to put myself in harm's way. Remember, I sustained a major injury as I was running out of bounds. TB12 *doesn't have* to run for it." Hence, that "privilege" is the unspoken problem between the two. To think that football started out as primarily a running sport for *EVERYONE* in the backfield. Now, plantation politics says that everyone else has to be exceptional, but a place *MUST* be reserved for likes of a truly unexceptional, unremarkable, "athletic talent (*smirk*)" like TB12----& we'll wash everyone else, especially black QBs outta the league, but we'll let TB12 play 'til he gets tired---& we'll call this unremarkable, unexceptional TB12 - who arguably acquired his football savvy from the "Fruit-of-the-Poisonous-tree" of FRAUD from the Tuck Rule, VideoGate, DeflateGate, a holding O-Line, and flat-out ref assistance - the GOAT, which is a slap in the face of even all the white QBs who were truly exceptional athletes like Ken Stabler, Roger Staubach, John Elway, Fran Tarkenton, Ben R., Rich Gannon, Steve Young, and Fran Tarkenton. I could go on, but folk get the point. Thus, in closing, will some team give AR the privilege that he's looking for as the league begins to shift back to it's roots?

  65. Byron Mims

    Byron MimsПре 10 дана

@Dlanor Asim Like Chris Berman who argued live on air that the Tuck Rule was the WORST call in the history of professional sports, coupled with all the cheating associated w/Duke basketball, I've long since dismissed the notion of actual "winning." No, "winning" in sports, here, invariably involves a plantation element that acts as a dopamine hit to the larger society whose very existence cries for a GWH. So, all the cheating and fraud associated with TB12 that followed him to Tampa (with some NFL Players, themselves, reportedly turning the channel when TB12s turnover was overturned) is simply amusing, as Aaron Rodgers simply wants in on that "action." Winning, indeed, lol!

@Mitchell Ajieroh If Russell Wilson truly wants out why wouldn't Green Bay take a 32 Year Old who has 6 or 7 years of playing left in him? Matt Ryan is 35 years old. Derek Carr is 30 years old. Other than that you trade Rodgers for Mac Jones or Trey Lance plus future picks. Unloading Rodgers contract is key so if they can get a decent or good QB back in return plus picks is ideal for Green Bay.

Way better offensive line, even with the new additions. And when dealing with a ego like Rodgers what’s more important? The defense or offensive weapons. Everyone just wants to hate on the Raiders because it’s the thing to do. If Bradley can even get these guys in Vegas defense to be a tad bit better, with ARod at QB the Raiders are true contenders.
